The Challenge
The original layout featured a separate WC and a large yet underutilized laundry area. Our goal was to optimize the space by extending the WC into a full bathroom renovation, while ensuring the laundry renovation remained practical and stylish.
The Transformation
To achieve this, we removed the existing linen cupboard to create additional room for the new bathroom. The newly designed space now comfortably accommodates:
- A 900mm shower for convenience and style
- A timber-look vanity with an above-counter Roca Inspira semi-inset basin
- A Mizi range of fixtures for a sleek and cohesive aesthetic
- A Kado Lux in-wall toilet suite for a modern and space-saving solution
- A smart LED mirror to enhance lighting and functionality
The bathroom walls and floors were tiled with 300×600 grey tiles, giving the space a contemporary and cohesive look.
Laundry Revamp
The laundry was designed to be both practical and visually appealing. We installed white shaker-style cabinetry, including:
- A base sink cupboard for ample storage
- A side-by-side washer and dryer setup for convenience
- A timber-look benchtop that complements the bathroom vanity
- Overhead cupboards and shelving, providing extra storage
- A hanging rail for easy clothes drying
To complete the renovation, we also replaced the back door and door jamb, as the original was deteriorating.
